A RECENT endorsement for Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., D-Paterson, came from an unexpected place: Esquire magazine.
In an election feature that included short endorsements in every congressional race in the nation, Esquire praised Pascrell for his low profile:
"Know why you've never heard of Bill Pascrell? Because he's been ignoring you and the rest of the world in favor of his constituents."

For decades, New Jersey has been ably served by two proud sons of Paterson: Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg and Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. Through the years, the two Democrats have displayed a steadfast commitment to the issues and concerns that affect their constituents most, including the environment, public transportation and public and higher education.
